Each of the clinics are scheduled according to the availability of doctors who volunteer their time and give of their resources to bring skilled health care to Jamaica. Occasionally, a local doctor helps to fill in at a very reasonable cost. In addition to the physician's services, local support personnel are paid to do registration, pre-testing, assist in pharmacy, and offer various patient services including spiritual care.
Patients pay a small fee for round-trip transportation from their local community to the clinic, but all services including medical care medications are provided free of any cost to the patient.
Delicious home-cooked meals are available for sale on clinic days, along with a nice variety of nutritional snack items at the Tuck Shop.
The sponsoring of costs for utilities, building and property maintenance and local support staff are a fulfilling and rewarding way to be a part of this great ministry!
